As well as the standard wine and beer, serving a signature cocktail at your wedding is a really great way of making your day even more memorable. We’ve rounded up a list of ‘seasonal sips’ that are sure to go down well with your guests whatever the time of the year.
Spring – Lavender or Rose Gin & Tonic
Adding either rose or lavender syrup to the classic gin and tonic gives it an amazing floral aroma that would be ideal to serve on a lawn in the sunshine before your reception. Garnish with a spring of fresh herbs of your choice, such as rosemary, lavender or thyme for an alternative to lemon and lime.
Summer – Strawberry and Basil Mojito
Fresh strawberries and basil combined with rum and make up this fresh and vibrant Summer cocktail.
Autumn – Moscow Mule
Made with vodka, spicy ginger beer, and lime juice, a Moscow Mule will warm your guests on a cooler evening. For extra spice, switch out the vodka for spiced rum and you have yourself a Dark and Stormy!
Winter – Peppermint Boozy Hot Chocolate
For something different, why not served a spiked hot chocolate as the dessert at your wedding reception. Garnish with lashing of whipped cream and a sprinkling of cinnamon.
